Delhi University today formed two grievance committees for its both North and South campus to address issues related to admission to courses under the recently-reverted three year format.
The varsity's Vice-Chancellor Dinesh Singh has formed a 12-member Central Admission Grievance Committee headed by Professor Ramesh Gautam of the Department of Hindi, for students taking admission to colleges situated at main campus (North Campus) of the University.
Similarly, an 11-member Central Admission Grievance Committee headed by professor R C Kuhad of the Department of Microbiology has been constituted for South Campus.
According to Delhi University, both the committees will address the grievances of the candidates relating to admission to various courses under the three-year format.
Under pressure from UGC, DU had on Saturday scrapped the four-year undergraduate programme which was started last academic year, and reverted to the earlier 3-year structure.
