The brand had made debut in India in 2009 under a partnership with Precision Motor India, which was its exclusive importer. It took a pause in January last year when Ducati decided to open its own national sales company in India. Precision would become one of its distributors.
Ducati India Pvt Ltd has now opened dealerships in Mumbai, Delhi and Gurgaon.
"In addition to a new dealership is opening in Bangalore shortly," Ducati India said in a statement.
The company said it is currently in the process of identifying, confirming and training dealers for opening showrooms in other cities.
Ducati's range of motorcycles, including the Diavel, Hypermotard, Monster and Superbike will be available in its showrooms, the company said.
