Duo sent to judicial custody in cow slaughter case

Two persons, arrested in connection with the incident of alleged cow slaughter which triggered tension in Kadhli village here, were today sent to 12-days judicial custody.
The duty magistrate sent Zishan and Saddam to judicial custody till August 12.
According to prosecution, a case was lodged against Zishan Qureshi and his family members for alleged cow slaughter, following which police had arrested Qureshi on Saturday.
The incident triggered tension in the area after locals attacked Qureshi's house.
The second accused, Saddam, was arrested yesterday, the prosecution added.
