"Now the time has arrived when we should request the CM to hold much longer winter session in the city. I am the strong supporter of this event in Dharamsala," Minister of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs G S Bali said.
Dharamshala is the winter capital of Himachal Pradesh. The Legislative Assembly is at Sidhbari, near the Chinmaya Tapovan Ashram, and the winter sessions are held there.
"Dharamsala Assembly is a gift of Chief Minister Vir Bhadra Singh to the people of area. He started the winter sojourn of the government to Dharamsala to give people a feel of governance at their doorsteps," Bali said.
