"The Nagpur-Mumbai Duronto Express and the Gondia-Mumbai Vidarbha Express were cancelled today. The Shalimar-Mumbai Express and the Howrah-Mumbai Mail, which started on August 29 from their respective origins, remain short-terminated till Nagpur on Wednesday," Central Railway PRO Pravin Patil told PTI.
He said the Nagpur-Mumbai route is expected to be fully operational by late tonight, as the work on the same is being carried on a war footing.
The engine and nine coaches of the Duronto Express had yesterday derailed between the Vashind and Asangaon stations following a landslide.
