Dy EC in city to review poll preparedness in Bengal

Deputy Election Commissioner Sandeep Saxena arrived here today to review the poll preparedness in West Bengal, where assembly elections are due this year.
He arrived here from Guwahati and will hold a meeting with all the district magistrates tomorrow to take stock of law and order situation in the state, sources in the Chief Electoral Officer's office said.
The full bench of the Election Commission lead by CEC Nasim Zaidi had paid a visit to Kolkata last month to review the poll preparedness and the ongoing revision of electoral rolls in the state.
