Dy Speaker, min, MLAs get head tonsured as mark of respect to

Tamil Nadu Assembly Deputy Speaker Pollachi V Jayaraman and Municipal Administration Minister S P Velumani were among 500 AIADMK members who got their head tonsured here as a mark of respect to late Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa.
After getting their head tonsured, they paid floral tributes at a portrait of Jayalalithaa, party officials said.
MLAs Aman Arjun, C Arukutty, Kanagarak, O K Chinnaraj, Arunkumar and Shanmugham also got their head tonsured.
They distributed food to over 10,000 people, officials said.
