Tamil actor Dhanush says it is easier to impress his father-in-law and superstar Rajinikanth than his wife Aishwarya.
Dhanush got married in 2004 to actor Rajinikanth's daughter Aishwarya.
"It was easy for me to convince Rajnikanth sir. Just be a nice human being and he will like you. The good part was he liked my work, films," Dhanush said at the promotional event of his Bollywood debut film 'Ranjhana' here today.
The actor said it is not easy to impress his wife Aishwarya and he is still trying hard.
"I think it is not easy to impress a girl especially with the looks that I have. It is quite tough," Dhanush said.
He looks quite excited about his upcoming film 'Ranjhana' which marks his acting debut in Hindi films.
The film carries a scene, in which Dhanush is seen taking a bullet between his teeth, which reminds one of a similar scene in a Rajinikanth film.
When asked about the same, Dhanush says, "He is a great actor. We all worship him. People are influenced by him...I did not do that scene thinking about his style...I will make sure I don't repeat it."
The 'Kolaveri Di' star praised Sonam Kapoor, his co-star in the film.
The film will release on June 24 and also stars Abhay Deol. It has been directed by Anand L Rai.
