East Godavari: man stabs woman to death, drinks pesticide

A man today murdered a married woman with whom he had a relationship and later attempted suicide in Mandapeta mandal of East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh, police said.
G Thrimurthulu (35), resident of Z Medapadu village, had a relationship with N Satyavathi (35), circle inspector S Ramana said.
Today they had a quarrel, after which Thrimurthulu allegedly stabbed her to death with a knife and drank pesticide.
Police admitted him to Rajahmundry government hospital and his condition was stated to be critical, the inspector added. Further probe is on.
