A senior ED officer said that Trivedi was brought here amidst tight security from the Bhopal Central Jail, where he was lodged under judicial custody, to the ED's sub-zonal office here for interrogation.
Trivedi was questioned from 12.30 pm to 6 pm to record his statement and to find out investments made by him in movable and immovable assets.
Besides Trivedi, the ED has registered cases against more than ten people allegedly involved in the MPPEB scam involving admission tests and recruitment examinations under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).
