Refined palmolein rebounded modestly at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today following fresh demand from retail buyers.
Elsewhere, castor seeds bold and castor oil commercial also recovered smartly due to renewed demand from soaps and shipper industries.
While, groundnut oil and linseed oil ruled steady in the absence of any worthwhile buying activity.
In the edible segment, refined palmolein gained by Rs 5 to Rs 714 per 10 kg from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 709 and groundnut oil ended unaltered at Rs 825 per 10 kg.
Moving to non-edible section, castor seeds bold climbed by Rs 65 to Rs 4,035 per 100 kg as against Rs 3,970 and castor oil commercial rose by Rs 13 to Rs 837 per 10kg from Rs 824 yesterday.
Linseed oil closed unchanged at Rs 800 per 10 kg.
