Edible, non-edible oils drops on subdued demand

Groundnut oil prices dropped further at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market due to selling by stockists amid subdued demand from retailers.
Refined palmolein also were slightly down owing to lack of buying support from retailers.
In the non-edible section, castorseeds bold and castor oil commercial declined following lower offtake from shippers and soap industries.
While, linseeds oil maintained its steady trend in the absence of any worthwhile buying activity.
In the edible segment, groundnut oil fell by Rs 10 per 10 kg to Rs 930 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 940 and refined palmolein softened by a Re per 10 kg to Rs 504.

Moving to non-edible segment, castorseeds bold fell by Rs 20 per 100 kg to Rs 3,625 from last weekend's level of Rs 3,645 and castor oil commercial eased by Rs 3 per 10 kg to Rs 755 as against Rs 759 previously.
Linseed oil closed unchanged at Rs 775 per 10 kg.
