Refined palmolein also gained further on retail buying support.
In the non-edible section, castorseeds bold and castor oil commercial also reclaimed slightly owing to mild demand from shippers and soap industries.
While, linseed oil held stable in the absence of any major buying.
In edible section, groundnut oil gained by Rs 10 per 10 kg to Rs 1,010 from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 1,000 and refined palmolein edged up by Rs 3 per 10 kg to Rs 568 as against Rs 565 previously.
Linseed oil closed unchanged at Rs 875 per 10 kg.
Oilseeds market was closed on March 24 and March 25 on account of 'Holi' and 'Good Friday'.
