Edible, non-edibles end lower on mute trade

Groundnutoil prices dropped in an otherwise mute Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market on sustained selling from stockists and retailers amid fresh arrivals from producing belts.
While, refined palmolein slipped slightly following reduced retail offtake.
Castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial moved down further due to lower demand from shippers and soap industries.
Linseedoil maintained a stable trend in the absence of any major buying from paint and allied industries.
In the edible segment, groundnutoil fell by Rs 10 per 10 kg to Rs 940 from Friday's closing level of Rs 950 and refined palmolein softened by a Re per 10 kg to Rs 510.

Moving to non-edible segment, castorseeds bold eased by Rs 25 per 100 kg to Rs 4,000 from yesterday's close of Rs 4,025 and castor oil commercial slipped by Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 830 as compared to Rs 835 yesterday.
Linseed oil closed unchanged at Rs 780 per 10 kg.
