"We have been marketing edible oils since past 15 years now. Introduction of our flagship brand Naturralle in Mumbai marks a new milestone and a step towards establishing our brand as a dominant player in the edible oil segment," director Anjani Kumar Gupta said here.
SARL is targeting Rs 3,000 crore turnover in three years from Rs 2,000 crore in FY14, he added.
The sunflower oil market is over Rs 18,000 crore as of FY14.
The company is also introducing vanaspati oil and bakery fats in Maharashtra, he said, adding SARL will soon launch its groundnut oil brand in the state.
He said, after Mumbai, the company is planning to foray into Chhattishgarh and Madhya Pradesh around Diwali.
"At present we are present in Andhra and Telengana and are slowly foraying into three other states. We are planning to establish our brands in these states before thinking of pan India presence," he added.
Gupta said the company is also looking at introducing rice bran oil, mustard oil and olive oil brand in future. The company has two fully-automated plants in Krishnapatnam (Andhra Pradesh) and the other in Telengana with a capacity of 1,000 tonne per day.
