Edible oils decline, non-edibles end stable

Groundnut oil prices declined further at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today following reduced demand from stockists and retailers.
Refined palmolein eased further owing to lower offtake from retailers.
In non-edible segment, castorseeds bold, castor oil commercial and linseed oil ruled steady in the absence of any large-scale buying activity.
In the edible segment, groundnut oil fell by Rs 10 per 10 kg to Rs 840 from Tuesday's closing level of Rs 850 and refined palmolein moved down by a Re per 10 kg to Rs 570.
Moving to non-edible section, castor seed bold, castor oil commercial and linseed oil ended unaltered at Rs 4,765, Rs 983 and Rs 730 per 10 kg, respectively.
