Edible oils ease on subdued demand

Groundnut oil and refined palmolein eased further at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today following subdued demand from stockists and retailers.
Linseeds oil also declined due to poor offtake from paint and allied industries.
While, castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial strengthened owing to consistent demand from soap and shippers industries.
In the edible segment, groundnut oil declined by Rs 10 per 10kg to Rs 960 from Last saturday's close Rs 970 and refined palmolein softened by a Re per 10kg to Rs 594.
Moving to non-edible section, castorseeds bold firmed up by Rs 25 per 100kg to Rs 4,050 as against Rs 4,025 and refined palmolein edged up by Rs 5 per 10kg to Rs 840 from Rs 835 yesterday.

Linseed oil weakened by Rs 25 per 10kg to Rs 850 as compared Rs 875 last weekend.
