Meanwhile, linseed oil ruled steady in absence of any necessary buying activity.
In edible section, groundnut oil rose by Rs 10 per 10 kg to Rs 960 from Wednesday's close of Rs 950 and refined palmolein edged up by Rs 4 per 10 kg to Rs 570 as against Rs 566 yesterday.
In the non-edible segment, castorseeds bold dropped by Rs 50 per 100 kg to Rs 3,700 as compared Rs 3,750 yesterday and castoroil commercial moved down by Rs 10 per 10 kg to Rs 770 from Rs 780.
