Edibles, non-edibles slip on subdued demand

Groundnut oil and refined palmolein slipped at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today following subdued demand from stockists and retailers.
Elsewhere, castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial also declined owing to sluggish demand from soaps and shippers industries.
While, linseeds oil ruled steady in absence of any large-scale buying activity.
In the edible segment, groundnut oil slid by Rs 10 per kg to Rs 940 from Thursday's close Rs 950 and refined palmolein edged down to Rs 3 per 10kg to Rs 627 as against Rs 630 yesterday.
Moving to the non-edible section, castorseed bold fell by Rs 25 per 100kg to Rs 4,175 from yesterday's close Rs 4,200 and castoroil commercial moved down by Rs 5 per 10kg to Rs 865 as against Rs 870.

Linseeds oil ended unaltered to Rs 800 per 10kg.
