In a statement, the party demanded President Mohamed Mursi to dismiss the ministers of electricity, environment, petroleum, finance, culture and water management, as well as the governors of Alexandria, Sharqiya, Port Said, Beheira and Qena.
An FJP source said the party submitted its request to the president's office alongside a report on the Cabinet and governors' performance.
The source said the FJP supports keeping Prime Minister Hesham Qandil, Supply Minister Bassem Kamel and Interior Minister Mohamed Ibrahim in office.
The sources said the party is devising a roadmap to create a front uniting opposition and revolutionary forces.
They said the party met with 14 political forces and revolutionary coalitions yesterday to discuss the roadmap it will present to the National Salvation Front and other opposition groups as part of its plans to bring down the government.
"Our role is to unite against the government and the prosecutor general, who only work for the Muslim Brotherhood," said Mohamed Attia, who took part in the meeting.
