Eicher Trucks and Buses launches data analytics solution

Eicher Trucks and Buses, part of VE Commercial Vehicles, today launched Eicher Live, an advanced telematics solution for commercial vehicles.
Eicher Live, launched at the Auto Expo here, provides real time data analytics of the fleet tracking. Its most important factors include fuel management and fault identification allowing customers to plan maintenance.
It is available as a company's installed system in the Eicher Pro Series range of trucks and buses.
Eicher Trucks and Buses also showcased seven products here, including a 37T haulage truck Eicher Pro 6037 and Eicher Skyline Pro School Bus.
"Hybrid school buses and public transport systems could be the possible solution to reduce pollution levels and are key transportation mode in the proposes Smart Cities of the future.

"The hybrid Skyline Pro School Bus comes with a host of safety features such as vehicle tracking, geo fencing, camera with recording, student ridership status available to the parents and fire detection/ suppression system," said Vinod Aggarwal, CEO of VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV).
VECV is a 50:50 joint venture between Volvo Group and Eicher Motors.
