Eight persons drowned in separate incidents

Eight persons, including a woman and three girls, drowned in the Ram Ganga feeder canal in two separate incidents in the district, police said here.
Four youths Vishal, Sanju, Pradeep and Ankit drowned in the canal while they were taking a bath in Rawana Shikarpur village yesterday, they said.
Bodies of Vishal and Sanju have been fished out and efforts were being made to trace two other youths, police said.
In a similar incident, three eight-year-old girls along with their aunty Nazira (35) also drowned in the canal in Nauganwa village in Chandpur area, they said.
