A case has been registered against the owner of the hotel and an inquiry has been set up against Chief Food Inspector of the district Ranbir Singh, Moradabad Divisional Commissioner Shiv Shankar Singh said.
According to journalist Mahipal Singh, a victim of the adulterated food, a meeting of the journalists was held at Gajraula and after that they had dinner at the hotel.
"When we were going towards Dhanaura after having dinner, suddenly everybody started vomiting in the car. Later, we moved to a government hospital in Dhanaura," said Singh.
Dhanaura hospital in-charge Adesh said they had fallen ill due to food poisoning, adding that after treatment they had been released from the hospital.
