Elderly women held on charges of smuggling brandy

Three aged women were arrested here today on charges of smuggling 61 bottles of brandy from Puducherry, police said.
The women, in the age group of 60 to 70 years, were taken into custody when they alighted from a bus here.
They were arrested under provisions of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act.
