Elecon Engineering elevates JS Patel as CEO of MHE Division

Elecon Engineering today said it has elevated JS Patel as Chief Executive Officer for the Material Handling Equipment Division.
Patel started his career with Elecon Group from 1977 to 1997 as Junior Engineer and rose up to the level of Head of construction and re-joined the group in 2008 as Vice President - construction and projects, the company said in a statement issued here.
He has also worked with Roberts & Schaefer in Chicago and Kellogg Brown & Root in Houston engaged in the field of material handling and construction.

Videocon aims 13 per cent AC market share in FY 2017
Homegrown consumer durables company Videocon today said it is targeting 13 per cent market share by the end of this fiscal year in the air conditioners segment by selling 6,50,000 units.
The company has introduced two new models under the hybrid solar powered AC range, it said in a statement.
"The AC market is growing rapidly in the country driven by technology, infrastructural developments, and increase in the consumer spendings. We are expecting to sell 6.5 lakh units of air conditioners this year and plan to increase our market share in the AC segment to 13 per cent by end of FY 2017 from the current 9 per cent," Videocon Chief Operating Officer - AC Division Sanjeev Bakshi said.
