Education minister Partha Chatterjee told reporters here, "I have urged the Primary Education Board to issue a notification after the Board office opens on October 9 stipulating the two conditions as per the guidelines mentioned by the Department of School Education, Government of West Bengal."
"The eligibility criteria for TET candidates will be securing at least 50 per cent marks in HS examination and completing the two year teachers' training programme," Chatterjee said after meeting state Primary Education Board President Anik Bhattacharya here yesterday.
The date of the examination and other particulars will be declared on October 9, Board president Bhattacharya said.
The TET, 2018 will be held to fill around 30,000 posts.
