The 68-year-old "Rocket Man" hitmaker said he wasn't behind the four-year-old Zachary's first foray into music and he isn't interfering or offering any advice, reported Femalefirst.
John, who also has son Elijah, two, with husband David Furnish, said, "Zachary's having piano lessons, but he asked to have them -- I didn't say anything."
And John and Furnish, 53, won't be putting any pressure on the little boy to follow in his father's footsteps.
"He just knows what middle C is right now ... He's no Arthur Rubinstein, believe me.
