The "Next to Me" singer's team has reached out to producers to ask for plot details of the upcoming 25th film in the series - which will again star Daniel Craig as 007 - so she can pen a special track, reported Contactmusic.
However, the 30-year-old star faces competition from Beyonce to land the coveted job.
"While Beyonce is the favourite for the job, it's not a done deal yet. It's looking like a two-horse race between the American and British vocal powerhouses," a source told Sun newspaper.
