The rapper took to micro-blogging site Twitter, before making any official announcements about the second album.
"Guess who's really back? VMAs," Eminem tweeted along with an image of the MTV VMAs logo.
The comeback album will be produced by Rick Rubin and Dr Dre and feature his new single 'Berzerk'.
