Of Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (JVVNL) were today arrested by Anti Corruption Bureau along with a middleman after being caught red-handed accepting a bribe of Rs 5,500 for not filing Vigilance Checking Report (VCR).
Assistant Engineer Prathvi Lal Meena and Lower Division Clerk Ramhait posted at Nainwa town in this district were arrested in their office while accepting the bribe, ACB, Bundi Circle In-charge Neeraj Gupta said.
Ramphool Meena, a resident of Nainwa town, lodged a complaint with ACB yesterday that the two officials demanded a bribe of Rs 5,500 through the middleman Hemraj, who was also arrested, for not filing the VCR against him, he said.
The bribe was also recovered from them, the CI added.
