Ravish Thakur, a resident of Amrapalli Grand Apartments, was on his way to a nearby market last night in the Alto car when the robbers intercepted him, police said.
They assaulted Thakur and left him injured before fleeing with his car, they said.
Police said a manhunt has been launched to arrest the robbers and recover the car.
