Enjoy singing and doing theatre: Suchitra Pillai

Actress Suchitra Pillai, who has been a model, anchor, VJ and even a singer says she enjoys singing and doing theatre.
Suchitra has been part of films like "Dil Chahta Hai", "Page 3", "Laaga Chunari Mein Daag", "Fashion" and others.
Suchitra has sung the Indi pop and rock genre with an album "Such is Life" released in 2011.
"Singing and acting on stage...Doing theatre gives me adrenaline rush as you get reaction immediately. I still get butterflies to perform on stage as an actor. Singing is my passion. I wanted to do something with music but it started four years back," the actress said in an interview here.

She is excited about her second album which will be produced by Farhan Akhtar's company FarOut Media.
"I am coming up with my second album, it's an English rock album. Farhan Akhtar's company has signed me for marketing and live shows," she added.

Suchitra will be seen next in a television show "Ek Shringaar... Swabhimaan", produced by Rajshri Productions.
The show will go on air from December 19 on Colors channel.
"The storyline is already ready, it's a great story. The storyline is not going to be decided on basis of TRP. Also it's a strong role and so I couldn't say no," added Suchitra.

The model-actress will play the role of 'Sandhya', who is a positive, down to earth and straightforward person.
"This may seem like a regular role but there is lot to come," she said.
