Modi called for integration of all land records with Aadhaar at the earliest.
He was chairing the 11th interaction with officials through PRAGATI - the ICT-based, Multi-modal Platform for Pro-Active Governance and Timely Implementation.
"The Prime Minister reviewed the progress towards handling and resolution of public grievances. Urging the officers to further speed up the pace of work in this regard, he emphasized that grievance redressal is one of the biggest aspects of democracy.
Modi also reviewed the progress of vital infrastructure projects in the road, railway, power, and oil sectors, spread over several states including Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand.
Noting that there is now healthy progress among states for investment in terms of ease of doing business, the Prime Minister called for further concerted efforts to build on the momentum, to create a positive perception.
"Examining the progress of Digitisation of Land Records, the Prime Minister called for integration of all land records with Aadhaar at the earliest. He emphasised that this is extremely important to monitor the successful implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana," the release said.
Reviewing the progress of provision of citizen-centric services electronically, the Prime Minister called for a comprehensive district-wise review across the country of how many services are actually being delivered online.
Besides the core groups of state party units, top Union
ministers were also present.
Modi said the party should work to connect with the poorest sections of the society and asked the core leadership of the states to pay attention to it.
This is the first time the party has held a workshop of core groups of all its state units with Shah noting that the groups are the foundation stone of the organisation's working.
"We have to keep growing. It is necessary for this that the government and the party work in coordination, their work is reviewed with time and appropriate changes are made. The constitution of core groups in all states and their regular meeting can play an important role," the party president said.
Shah said in those states where BJP is not in power, the party has to play the role of a constructive, aggressive and sensitive opposition to raise public issues.
He said BJP is not merely a party but an ideology and, therefore it is natural that its working will be different from that other parties.
