Essar Shipping Q2 loss narrows to Rs 42 cr
The company had posted standalone loss after tax of Rs 67.50 crore in the corresponding quarter of previous fiscal, Essar Shipping said in a BSE filing.
The standalone total income of the company declined to Rs 161.72 crore from Rs 164.47 crore in the year-ago period.
Its total expenses also declined to Rs 203.22 crore compared to Rs 231.27 crore in the same period last fiscal.
Shares of the company today ended 0.37 per cent down at Rs 26.90 apiece on BSE.
