Evaluating buying opportunities: JSW Energy

JSW Energy today said it is evaluting various opportunities amid speculations that Sajjan Jindal-led company looks set to acquire a 1,000 Mw power plant in Raigarh, Chhattisgarh from Jindal Steel and Power Ltd.
"JSW Energy continues to evaluate various opportunities and as a part of evaluation, discussion with various parties take place from time to time.
"Accordingly, no disclosable even under the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosures Requirments) Regulations, 2015 has taken place. We will duly inform the exchanges as and when a disclosable event occurs," JSW Energy said in a filing to BSE.
The filing to the bourese by the ocmpany was in response to the clarification sought by the BSE on the news item which said "Transaction likely to close today, JSW Energy Set to Buy JSPL Power".
