Everstone appoints Sanjay Gujral as COO

Private equity firm Everstone today said it has appointed Sanjay Gujral as new chief operating officer.

Gujral is replacing Sanjoy Chatterjee who is relocating to New York to become the President of Americas and Global Head of Business Development for Everstone, the company said in a release.

Gujral will work closely with Sameer Sain, co-founder and chief executive officer of Everstone Group, it added.

Earlier Gujral was part of the leadership team and investment committee at L Catterton Asia and was an executive director at Everstone Capital in India. He has over 20 years of experience in private equity and financial advisory. PTI
