Former MLA of Darwha
constituency, Harish Mandhana passed away due to massive heart attack at a local nursing home today.
He was 77 and is survived by his wife, two sons and as many daughters.
Mandhana represented Darwha seat from 1978 to 1985.
He was initially elected to the state Assembly as a Forward Bloc candidate before joining Congress.
He was founder President of Jai Kisan Co-Operative Sugar factory at his native place Bodegaon in Darwha tehsil.
Mandhana was instrumental in forming 'Vidarbha Janta Congress.
He donated his body to local government medical college.
