Former Donald Trump aide and reality TV star Omarosa Manigault Newman has written an "explosive, and jaw-dropping" account of her stint in the White House and with the Trump administration which will be out next month.
"Unhinged: An Insider's Account of the Trump White House" will hit bookstores on August 14, publishers Gallery Books and Simon & Schuster India announced today.
"Few have been a member of Donald Trump's inner orbit longer than Newman. Their relationship has spanned 15 years through four television shows, a presidential campaign, and a year by his side in the most chaotic, outrageous White House in history," a statement said.
"But that relationship has come to a decisive and definitive end, and Omarosa is finally ready to share her side of the story in this explosive, jaw-dropping account. A stunning tell-all and takedown from a strong, intelligent woman who took every name and number, 'Unhinged' is a must-read for any concerned citizen," it said.
Newman was an assistant to Trump and director of communications for the White House Office of Public Liaison, working on outreach to various constituency groups. She was reportedly fired last December.
She featured in Trump's show "The Apprentice". After leaving the White House, she returned to reality TV and appeared on CBS television show "Big Brother", where she condemned Trump and his administration.
