Exhbition of goods made by Tihar inmates

Products manufactured by Tihar Jail inmates has been put on display at India Habitat Centre here, a jail official said.
Paintings by prison inmates, jewellery made of jute and jute bags, bed-sheets, durries, shirts, chairs, table, desk, coco lawn, organic manure, plants, bakery products, variety of namkeens, mustard oil, coco flower pots are on display, Tihar jail spokesperson said.
Principal Secretary Home, Archana Arora, in the presence of D G Prisons, Vimlaa Mehra inaugurated the exhibition on August 24 at Open Palm Court gallery in India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.
The exhibition will continue till August 30, he said.
