A total 75 kg of
ammonium nitrate was today recovered and two persons were taken into custody for interrogation at Junglepur village, about 15 km from Dhanbad city, the police said here.
Acting on a tip-off, the police raided a place at the village under Gobindpur police station and recovered the explosive material, the sources said, adding an FIR was lodged against two unknown persons.
The police have taken two persons into custody to ascertain whether the explosives were to be supplied to the Maoists or illegally routed to quarries, the source said.
