Senior police officials from the district said the weapons and explosives were seized from forest area under the Tadoki police station limits yesterday.
Teams of Seema Suraksha Bal and local police were sent to patrolling in the area last night. They received information about explosives and weapons being hidden allegedly by Maoists in the area, they said.
Following this, a .32 mm pistol, one round, 11 pistols, 20 detonators, 15 SLR rounds, 25 Insas rifle rounds, 6 gelatin tube, 2.6 kg gelatin liquid, 18 kg iron pieces, 2 packets of 'sutali' bomb, 1 SLR, insas magazine were seized, police said.
Police have launched a search operation to nab the ultras.
