As per the complaint lodged by MLC and SP district President Banwari Singh Yadav, he got a call demanding Rs 5 crore as extortion money following which an FIR was registered yesterday, Superintendent of Police (city), Anil Kumar Yadav said.
The caller asked Yadav to give the money or face dire consequences, he said.
