Crime branch of the district police intercepted a car and during checking near Nandgram tri-section today and found 16 packets of foreign-branded health supplements concealed in it, said Crime branch inspector Arun Singh.
He said that two occupants of the car-- Sunil and Naval alias Bittoo-- were arrested and later questioned.
During interrogation, they told that they were on way to Delhi to supply the packets of health supplements, bearing foreign brand names, the inspector said.
They used to illegally manufacture the supplements used by gym enthusiast and supply it to various states at a very cheap rate.
They were later produced in a court which sent them to judicial custody.
