False rape cases being filed in Gujarat for polarisation: Cong

Gujarat Congress chief Arjun Modhwadia today alleged that members of the minority community were being framed up in bogus rape cases in order to polarise the society ahead of the civic elections next year.
"This is an extreme example of how society is being polarised on the issue of rape. They polarised our society through the communal riots, then the fake encounters. Now, they have a new modus operandi -- to frame up minority community members on rape charges," Modhwadia told reporters here.
