Singer-actor Farhan Akhtar and music director Pritam will perform at a concert as part of the Dubai Music Week here.
Bollywood Night will see Akhtar's rock band, Farhan Live, perform for the first time ever in Dubai. The band made their debut at a gig in Goa earlier this year.
Pritam will be collaborating with singers Mohit Chauhan, Arjit Singh of "Aashiqui 2" fame, Harshdeep Kaur, 'Batameez Dil' hitmaker Benny Dayal and Neeti Mohan.
Dubai Music Week is a venture between Global Gumbo Group (G3) and DXB Live, in collaboration with Dubai World Trade Centre.
"Given the remarkable popularity of Bollywood across the world, we are delighted to be hosting the industry's top talent right here in Dubai. With a range of performers lined up, Bollywood night will mirror Dubai's diversity by showcasing a range of music spanning rock to romance from some of the most well-recognised performers in India today," Issam Kazim, Director, DXB Live said.
Dubai Music Week will run from September 24-29 and will also include live performances from former Black Eyed Peas star will.I.Am, Timbaland and Selena Gomez.
"Incorporating different genres of music and performers will help support Dubai Music Week's mission to create an international music destination for global talent to perform, while simultaneously creating an eco-system to help local artists thrive," Taymoor Marmarchi, executive director of G3 said.
