Farmer seeks action against buffaloes for destroying cabbage

In a peculiar case, a farmer here has filed a complaint against a herd of buffaloes for destroying Rs four lakh worth of cabbage crops grown in his farm.
In the complaint lodged with the Town Police Station and also the Revenue Department, the farmer said, 18 buffaloes, allegedly belonging to the families of Toda tribe, entered his farm and destroyed cabbages grown in his one acre land.
Estimating the loss at Rs four lakh, he sought action against the buffaloes or their owners, police said.
