Farmers held on way to Assembly to stage picketing

Around 60 members of Puducherry unit of All India Kisan Sabha, including somen women, today courted arrest when they took out a procession to stage a picketing at the Assembly in support of their charter of demands.
Among other thinsgs, the farmers wanted the Centre to constitute Cauvery Water Management Board and bring in separate budget for development of agriculture.
