Farmers to intensify stir against proposed Mumbai-Nagpur E-way

The farmers from 49 villages of Sinnar and Igatpuri tehsils have decided not to give an inch of land for the Maharashtra government's Mumbai-Nagpur Samrudhhi Expressway, a member of Farmers' Action Committee said today.
"We have decided not to give an inch of land for the proposed Expressway," said Raju Desale, Working President of Kisan Sabha and a member of Farmers' Action Committee.
According to Desale, 26 villages in Sinnar and 23 villages in Igatpuri will come under the expressway.
