Farooq Abdullah to attend Bangla President's funeral

Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy Farooq Abdullah will attend the state funeral of Bangladesh President Zillur Rahman in Dhaka tomorrow.
Rahman died yesterday at a Singapore hospital where he was being treated for kidney and respiratory problems. He was 85.
Both houses of Parliament today condoled the death of Rahman and stood in silence for a while as a tribute to the departed leader.
President Pranab Mukherjee and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh have already sent messages of condolences to the Bangladesh leadership.
