Father and son shot dead by ex serviceman

A man and his son were today shot dead allegedly by their neighbour an ex serviceman at Basant Kot village, police said.
Police said Heera Singh (60) and his son Dilbag (24) were constructing a temporary shed to store straw for animals and a part of their beam extended towards the house of their neighbour Nirmal Singh, an ex serviceman who allegedly opened fire with his licensed double barrel gun at them.
Heera and his son Dilbag was shot dead on the spot, police added.
SSP Diljinder Singh alongwith police force reached the spot.
A case has been registered against Nirmal Singh who was absconding, police said.

Their bodies were sent to civil hospital here for post mortem examination.
